Meet the Staff

Doug grew up as a pastor’s kid in the great state of Nebraska (and lived to tell about it). He vowed his love and faithfulness in marriage to Laura Peterson in 1993. God has blessed their lives with two terrific kids – a daughter, Segrid, and a son, Noah. Upon leaving his home of origins Doug attended MNU and eventually, after a significant detour, ended up in pastoral ministry himself. He joined the pastoral team of GC in Feb. ’09. His job is to build, equip, release and resource lay ministry teams to minister to children, teens and adults which works out well because his great passion in life is to help people of all ages find, in Christ, life that is really life.

Adam was born in Arizona, but for the majority of his life, he was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. After high school, Adam left his parents and his brother and sister to go to college. He attended North Central University in Minnesota where he felt led to worship ministry. He then attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas where he went deeper into his love for worshipping the Lord! Speaking of love, Adam has been married to his wife, Natalie since July 2008 and together they enjoy music, traveling, and being with friends and family. Adam also enjoys graphic design in his spare time.  His passion in life is to draw others in to experience God through worship and the arts!
